A conversion ad is especially well suited for eCommerce. It is designed to target potential buyers, and not just 'window shoppers' or browsers who may visit your site, but not make a purchase.Unlike dynamic product ads, conversion ads that use catalogs do not automatically show users the products they've already engaged with (since the ads may also be shown to cold, or new audiences). However, Facebook does use the data it has on its users to show them products they are more likely to click on, based on their browsing history and preferences.A conversion ad can be created in any of the following formats: video, single image, carousel, or collection.Finally, in conversion ads, you can set up multiple ad creatives in a single ad set or campaign.
You need a catalog to create any kind of dynamic ad on Facebook or Instagram.Dynamic ads automatically change the products that are displayed for each viewer, based on purchase and browsing history. For this, Facebook needs up-to-date information about all the products in your store. This is achieved through the product catalog or product feed (a list of your products with which contains all relevant information like image, price or availability).
Types of dynamic ads that you can create with a catalog are:
These ads show viewers the same products that they have viewed on your site, along with other relevant products. Since your potential buyer has already shown interest in these products, DPAs tend to have the highest conversion rates.
These are shown to 'cold' or new audiences. Facebook decides which products to show each viewer based on the click-through rate of each product and the past behavior of the potential buyer.TIP: A catalog with learnings can also be used for a prospecting campaign. Such a campaign is usually known as a dynamic ad for broad audiences (DABA) and is used at the top of the funnel to let Facebook use its own learnings to optimize delivery.
Here's a short checklist for you to go through before you start advertising through Socioh.
The user who installs the Socioh app will be the Admin of your store on Socioh. All other team members are Managers.Admins can invite or remove managers at any time (go to Settings --> Users and Permissions --> Shop Roles).Managers will not be able to perform the following functions:
Socioh offers a mix of single and multi-variation templates.Multi-variation templates are templates with multiple Master Templates. These have the same overarching (or parent) design but have small differences—like rotating text, colors, and backgrounds, or the placement of image, borders, coupons, colors, and other design elements to better fit product images with different dimensions.These templates can be used to accommodate product images with different width-height ratios, and/or create visual interest and highlight brand/product information important for shoppers.
There are two ways in which Socioh's software fits products into relevant master templates:1. In the case of master templates with size variations, your product images are automatically fitted into a variation most suited to their width-height ratio (WHR).
2. For master templates that have the same size dimensions but rotating colors, design, or text elements, products are distributed equally in sequence.
In the case of Master Templates where variations are based on WHR ratios, each of your selected products will automatically be fitted into the most suitable variation. So it's possible that in a particular catalog, less than all variations are in use.However, in the case of master templates with the same size dimensions, the default is that all variations are in use.NOTE: Easily "disable" any master templates that you do not want to use in either case.
When creating your catalogs, you can easily choose between the 'Image Fit' and 'Image Fill' options.Choose the setting you prefer by choosing your preferred option when creating a Basic Catalog, or use the "Toggle fitting" button when saving a Branded Catalog:Image FitWhen you select this setting, Socioh automatically ensures that your entire image is visible.NOTE: Choosing this fitting may result in white bars on the sides or the top and bottom of your image if your product images aren’t square.
Image FillWith Image fill, Socioh zooms in on your image to make sure it completely fills the ad space.NOTE: Choosing this fitting could mean that the top and bottom or sides of your image get cropped if your product images aren’t square.
Dynamic Product Ads or DPAs are the best performing type of ads on Facebook. They are ads that target each viewer with the same products that they have previously viewed on your site. Since your potential buyer has already shown interest in these products, DPAs tend to have the highest conversion rates.We recommend that you use DPAs to target product page bouncers and to recover cart abandoners.
A Product Feed or a Catalog is a list of your store’s products with information like product photo, price, name, availability etc. This is how Facebook gets access to all the information that it needs to populate your dynamic ad.

Have different discounts on different products in your store? Create a Dynamic Discount Catalog.How? Use Socioh's value mapping feature to map the exact discount % on any product and use the prefix and suffix options to present it exactly as you like (example -15% or 25% OFF, etc.)
PRO TIP: Avoid displaying low discount amounts like 3% or 6%. We recommend only showing discounts above 15%.How? Specify a minimum value for your discounts using the visibility condition. Only products with discounts higher than the minimum value will display the discount amount or percentage on the creative.
NOTE: Add the visibility condition on all elements (place holder, complementary design elements such as dashes, etc.) that need to be erased when you choose not to display the discount. You can use the Preview button on the top right corner to check how your template will look.
A catalog is a list or ‘feed’ of products which contains information like product image, title, price, etc. You need a catalog to create dynamic ads on Facebook.

Every product in your store can be promoted in many different ways, depending on your target audience. For instance, the same item can be advertised to a cart abandoner with a Coupon Code, a past purchaser as a New Arrival, or a site bouncer as a Summer Special.With a plain catalog feed, you will show the same image to all your audiences. Any custom messaging will need to be part of the caption, which is easily missed - especially on Instagram.With Branded Catalogs, all custom messaging can be mapped directly onto the product image, which will be displayed in your dynamic ad, substantially boosting relevance and CTR (click-through-rate).

There are three levels to Facebook's campaign structure: campaign, ad set, and ad. Each ad set will contain one or more ads.You'll define targeting, budget, schedule, bidding, and placement rules at the ad set level.Ad sets are a great tool to test different audiences, placement options, and more.For example, in the campaign structure below, Socioh creates two ad sets within the same campaign. Each of the ad sets uses a 5% lookalike of purchasers, but your data is segmented by the recency of the purchase in order to test which audience is more profitable:
Setting up your campaigns in this way can help you can test the audiences against each other. For example, once you have the initial results, you can change the setting from CBO (campaign budget optimization) to adjust budgets at the ad set level. This allow you to allocate more budgets to the audiences that perform better, and so on.
Add up to 5 photos for your products and automatically use any of these in your dynamic ads. A great example would be to upload good user-generated content (UGC) to help build trust.
1. Upload any relevant image.Hint: always upload images of a similar style in the same position.2. Pick the photo you would like to display in your dynamic ads.For example, upload UGC as the 2nd image. Now pick the second photo(s). We'll pull all images from that position and create a catalog of all your UGC content.
If we don't find an alternate image in the position you've picked, Socioh will pull 1st image from your store.TIP: Stay ahead of the season's trends with custom uploaded images. Have a product shoot of select products or a particular category exclusively for Christmas? You may not want to upload these to your product listings, but you can create a Christmas catalog with these for your holiday promotions.
With Socioh, you can use any of the product images in your online store for your DPAs (Dynamic Product Ads).
Each number corresponds to the image position you want us to use the image from. For example, if your eCommerce store uses lifestyle images in position "2" consistently, select "2" here to create a catalog of lifestyle images for your store.

Lookalike Audiences (LLAs) are audiences of potential customers who are similar to a ‘seed’ audience of your past purchasers, social media engagers, etc. The larger and better defined your ‘seed’ audience, the more profitable your LLA.
To create a Lookalike Audience, you need to first choose a source or 'seed' audience. This seed audience may be pulled from your pixel, your order data, your mobile site visitors, your social media engagers, etc. Facebook identifies the common qualities of the people in your 'seed' audience (behavior, interests, demographics, etc.). It then matches these qualities against its entire database of users and delivers your ad to an audience of people who are similar to (or 'look like') your seed audience.Lookalike audiences can have an audience size of between 1% and 10%. A 0-1% LLA means the 1% of Facebook users who most closely resemble your seed audience. To scale your audience, you can increase the size to 1-3%, 3-5%, 5-10%, and so on.TIP: At Socioh, we recommend starting with a 0-5% LLA in most cases. Use a 0-1% LLA if you have a smaller ad budget as the resulting audience size will be sharply targeted. Using a 0-1% LLA with a high ad budget can lead to creative fatigue for the resulting audience. If you have a sufficient budget, you could consider running both campaigns simultaneously.
While a retargeting campaign is great to bring back website visitors, you'll need prospecting campaigns to bring in new shoppers to your website.What are prospecting ads?Prospecting ads are ads targeted at bringing new potential customers to your website. There are 3 basic kinds of prospecting ads:1) Broad Prospecting: In these ads, you give Facebook broad parameters like country or location(s) - and maybe age and gender - and let Facebook optimize who it's going to show your ads to. A frequently used strategy here is to set these up as a dynamic product ad with a catalog that has already run within your bottom-of-the-funnel retargeting ad so Facebook knows whom to show your ads to.Pros: Facebook does have a lot of user data it can leverage to broaden your audience profitably. Typically, these ads work well if your ad account is already optimized.Cons: There is a risk of spending your budget too quickly, and your own learnings do not grow since you rely on Facebook's optimizations.2) Interest or behavior-based prospecting: Here, advertisers use Facebook's lists of interests and demographics to target their brand personas. For example, if you're an organic skincare brand, you may target women in a particular age range that are buying from interests like 'organic' and/or 'skincare', but also target competing brands, and lifestyle choices such as Whole Foods, yoga, pilates, etc. The better your understanding of your brand persona, the better your targeting.Pros: Using Facebook's behavior targeting helps leverage Facebook's own data to target your brand persona.Cons: Experimenting is key, and can lead to significant spending before key learnings can be implemented.3)Lookalike-based prospecting ads: Lookalike audiences use a 'seed audience' you already have, to tell Facebook to find you users that resemble these. Used well, these are a reliable way to prospect using your own data (order data. customer lists, subscriber lists, qualified pixel audiences, etc.). For example, you may use a seed audience with all your past purchasers, and create a 5% lookalike of it. Running this lookalike in a campaign would signal to Facebook to show your ads to the top 5% of users who resemble your seed audience at any given time.These are usually created manually on Facebook using a customer list but can be automated through Socioh's easy audience-creation tool.Pros: Using your most qualified data to create seed audiences can lead to great results. TIP: We recommend using a 0-5% lookalike for your ads to avoid exhausting your audience too soon.Cons: These are effective in stores that have a significant volume of data. Care must be taken to segment the source audience effectively, and avoid exhausting audiences - too narrow an audience will not reach many potential shoppers.Prospecting RecommendationsBased on your shop's order and pixel data, Socioh will suggest the best custom campaigns for you. If you have enough orders to start prospecting against, Socioh will automatically unlock Order-data based prospecting campaigns for your account. We typically recommend you start with a 5% lookalike of your past purchasers sorted by recency, frequency, or monetary value.TIP: We typically recommend using 0-5% lookalikes to begin with. However, if you're in bigger or more populous markets, you can start with the narrowest (0-1%) lookalikes and expand them as you scale. For smaller markets with restricted audience sizes, wider lookalikes may perform better. Keep an eye on your ad frequency to make sure you aren't exhausting your audiences. For prospecting ads, a frequency between 1 and 2 is ideal. Greater than that means your audience size is too small.If these ads are not yet available to you, start with a Pixel-based prospecting campaign using either Purchasers, Cart Abandoners, or Engaged Viewers.TIP: Use a segment as close to the bottom of your funnel as possible. However, make sure that the source audience (30 days pixel for that event) has at least about 2500 unique users.Catalog Creative(s) to Use: You can use a number of creatives in your first prospecting campaign. Some suggestions to get started with are:1. Full Shop Catalog with Lifestyle Images2. Bestsellers or Bestselling Category Catalog3. Rotating Brand-Values Catalog4. 2-Image Catalog with Cut-Price, Offer, or ReviewTIP: We recommend you use at least two catalogs and one single image and/or video format ad in your prospecting campaigns. Remember, testing is key when it comes to creatives (for both catalog designs and format).
If you have not set up a retargeting ad to bring back your website visitors, you are leaving money on the table!
Retargeting ads target recent website visitors to remind them to return and complete their purchases. Using Facebook's dynamic product ads (DPA) for retargeting shows your visitors exactly the product(s) they have recently viewed on your website, and are the most profitable ad campaigns you can run.Since they are shown to shoppers who have already shown an interest in your brand, they are often the most cost-effective form of advertising.
Your first retargeting campaign should target your hottest website visitors with a full-shop Branded Catalog.Who are your hottest visitors? Typically, these include cart abandoners and engaged viewers, or users who've spent time browsing one or more of your product listings, adding products to their carts, etc.Socioh automatically segments your Facebook pixel traffic to suggest your best audiences (Viewers and/or Cart Abandoners 0-3/0-7 /0-15 or 0-30 days) under its ready-to-use campaign suggestions.
Your retargeting campaign will now be published on your Facebook Ads Manager. However, it may take up to up to 72 hours to start delivering, while Facebook approves and optimizes it for delivery.
To schedule an A/B test, you'll need to select a campaign for which you want us to compare test results.At any given time, you can select one campaign in which to run the test. This is the case even if the catalog is live in multiple campaigns.During the test, the catalog design will be replaced for all campaigns that it is being used in. BUT the result will only be looked at in the selected campaign. NOTE: If you decide to go with the winning design, this will be replaced in ALL catalogs using this design.

A full-shop branded catalog with your logo is a great place to start.
You may occasionally receive an email from Facebook that says that the google_product_category field is missing on your catalogs.This will not affect your ad performance at all. While Facebook uses the google_product_category field to categorize your products, Shopify and a few other eCommerce platforms use different fields instead, leading to the error. If you notice that there are other fields missing in your Catalog, please get in touch with us and we'll take a look right away.
If you're an agency or a consultant installing Socioh on a client's store, you may want to white-label our app.In this case, you can install Socioh on a Shopify store using a private-app admin API key.**Note that you will need access to the store's Shopify logins to do so. 1. Click on “Add Shopify Shop” when you click on Login/Sign Up on Socioh.com:
2. Now, on the pop-up you see, choose the “install Socioh using private key” option instead of entering your url:
3. After this you’ll see a popup where you’ll have to enter private key information. To fetch this, login to your store on Shopify and click on “Apps” in the left-hand menu:

6. On the next screen, add a name for the app (if you’d like it to be different from Socioh), an email for correspondence and then in the next section for Admin API, click on “Show inactive Admin API permissions”:

8. After you’ve enabled read and write permissions for all the fields above, scroll to the bottom of the page and “Save” these settings.9. Then you’ll see this prompt to confirm that you'd like to proceed. Click on the "Create App" button to fetch your private key information:

11. Now return to Socioh and copy the corresponding entries against your Shop Name, Private/API Key, Password and Shared Secret on the pop-up to install your shop via a private key:

Don’t worry! Just pick the category that you feel describes your store best. You could pick the category that you have the most number of products in or the category which primarily represents your brand identity - whatever you wish. You can always change the category if you like. You can learn how to do that here.
When you create or edit a Branded Catalog on Socioh, it can take up to a few minutes to get updated on Facebook. Usually, the process takes up to 3 mins (but no more than 15 minutes). Simply refresh both your Socioh and Facebook pages (Command + R / CTRL + R) after a few minutes - your updates should now show up.
With Socioh’s default inventory import, you'll:1. Never have active products rejected by Facebook: Your listings may include active products or custom orders with zero inventory. Our automatic inventory import ensures that these listings are not rejected from your catalogs.2. Get real-time inventory information for each listing: We update each listing's inventory every time your catalog is resynced.TIP: Create urgency by highlighting the inventory of fast-selling products on your catalog creative. Map your inventory using Socioh's visibility and value features.
Yes, though it is not recommended. Unselect the check-box to stop syncing your product inventory.NOTE: This will not affect Socioh's ability to remove inactive products from your catalogs. Any products that are 'Sold Out' or 'Out-of-Stock' will continue to be removed from your ad catalogs.
With Socioh, you can automatically remove the backgrounds of your product images and add stunning backgrounds and gradients to create thumb-stopping ads.Eg. Once you’re done making your selection, you can generate a preview and confirm and save your selection.NOTE: Socioh automatically saves all your background-removed images. You won’t need to remove the background for any image more than once.
To run effective retargeting through Socioh, you’ll need to connect to a Facebook Business Manager account. A Business Manager account gives you greater control and flexibility, allowing you to add team members or advertisers and manage different ad accounts, pages, permissions, and apps, all in one place.If you’ve been using a personal ad account, you can set up a Business Manager account on Facebook for free, then claim your personal ad account. Here are the steps to claiming your personal ad account from within your Business Manager:
Now connect your Business Manager to Socioh to begin effective retargeting campaigns for your brand.
When you connect your Facebook Business Manager to Socioh using your Facebook logins, we automatically populate a list of connected Ad account, Pixels, Facebook pages and your Instagram accounts to the drop-downs on your "Account Settings" page.There could be two reasons you can't find your Instagram account on Socioh:I. Your Business Manager is not connected to your Instagram account. Here's how to add your Instagram account to your Business Manager:
2. You'll see all Instagram accounts connected to the account. If you don't see your account, and are an admin on the Instagram account you are trying to connect, you can simply click on "Add" and look for IG account by name or id.3. Click on Add after entering the ID or name of your account. Now it'll show up as connected to your account.4. Now return to Socioh and refresh your page. Your IG account should now show up and you'll be able to select it in Socioh and connect to it.
II. Your Instagram account is not added to the selected ad account: If your Business Manager is already connected to your Instagram account but you still don't see it, you will need to add your Instagram account to the selected ad account. Here's how:1. Go to your Business Manager and click on the settings icon on the top right corner:
2. Now, On the left panel, select "Instagram accounts":
3. Choose the IG account you'd like to assign and click on "Add Assets":
4. Now select your preferred ad account selected in your Socioh dashboard:
5. After this, go back to the Socioh dashboard, click on Settings under your name on the top right corner and go to Facebook Settings ---> Account Details and click on the "Resync Business Accounts" option.Your IG account should now show up and you'll be able to select and connect to it.Please reach out to using our chat/support option on the bottom right corner of your Socioh dashboard if you continue to face any issues.
The catalogs you create directly on Facebook are currently not imported to Socioh. However, if you’ve created a catalog in Socioh, but made edits to it (such as adding or deleting products, creating product sets, etc.) on Facebook, you should see those changes reflected in your catalogs.You can also import all edits immediately by clicking on the 'Resync Catalogs from Facebook' option on the top right corner of your 'Branded Catalogs' page:
TIP: You can create product sets within your Socioh catalogs by editing them on Facebook. Then use the button above to import these changes to your Socioh catalog.
Your Branded Catalogs on Socioh are created using your listings from your eCommerce store.All your catalogs are automatically are synced with Socioh every 24 hours (or sooner, based on your subscription).This means that each of your listings' inventory and product information is updated on every resync, and new products are added automatically every time your Socioh dashboard is synced with your store (for full store and category-based catalogs).If you cannot see all your products in your Branded Catalog, this may be due to several reasons:
This will ensure that all your Branded Catalogs are updated against the current listings in your store.
With Socioh, you have complete control over which products will be displayed in your Facebook catalog ads. Here's how you can remove specific products when creating or editing a catalog.1. Go to the product selector screen. This is where you can choose which products to include (and exclude) in your catalog:
2. Whether you want to start with all products, or specific collections or tags, you'll get the option to "Select products to exclude from the catalog". Click on this prompt to see the exclude products pop up:
3. Here, you can find and select any products you wish to exclude from your shop. Simply type in the name of your product in the search bar, and select the correct product(s) to exclude, and click on "Done" at the bottom of the screen to save your exclusions.But that's not all. Use the "Advanced Options" button to select from specific categories, tags, or even filter products by price.PRO TIP: If you have a list of hidden products or products that violate Facebook's advertising policies, create a collection of these, or tag them all on Shopify. Socioh will then pull this information, and you can simply select the collection or tag to exclude all of them at once.
Now, you'll be able to choose which template to fit your selected products into and 'Publish' or 'Update' your catalog with your chosen product selection.TIP: Some of your products may not look good in the template of your choice. Instead of going all the way back to your product selection screen to exclude them, you can use the final ‘Review and Save’ screen. Click on the "Exclude" button under the specific creative to remove it from your catalog:

Sometimes, Socioh loses the permission to control the campaigns you have created through its dashboard. This happens when your store tokens expire, or because you may have changed your password(s).
Typically, when this happens, you'll get an alert from Socioh asking you to reconnect your store. If you get such an alert, or notice that your daily deals or product sales are not starting as scheduled, or ending on time, here's what to do:
1. Select the menu beneath your store's name from the top bar:
2. Here, just click on the 'Reconnect' button next to the store you'd like to connect again, as shown in the screenshot above.
Now you're all set up.

If you are on a subscribed plan, you can invite multiple managers. The exact number (3,5, or 10) will be based on the plan you are subscribed to.All you have to do is send out an invite to your team members, after which they will receive an email with an access link.Once they click on it, they'll have to log in Socioh using their Facebook account.To add more users than your plan allows, you may purchase seats for additional managers as add-ons to your subscription plan.

Resyncing takes a couple of minutes. However, if there are more than 5000 products and categories in your store, it can take longer. It takes us approximately a minute to import and tag 1000 products, so the resync time for your store goes up with your listings.Please note, once you resync, all new product additions and updates will apply to your previous catalogs as well. This means we'll import any edits to titles, descriptions, prices and photos, import new products added to existing categories, and update any dynamic information automatically.
Socioh's plans are monthly or annual subscriptions. Your subscription will get auto-renewed on the next billing date that's mentioned in your plan details.Here's how it'll work in different cases:

Trouble in paradise?1. Go to the menu under your name on the top right corner.2. Click on Settings --> Users and Permissions.3. Under 'Shop Roles', click Remove next to the manager you'd like to let go of.
Done, the user will no longer be able to access your Socioh dashboard.
Socioh currently works with stores on the following platforms: Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.
Here's how you can connect your store:
1. Go to www.socioh.com.
2. Log in using your Facebook personal account.
3.Click on the platform on which you have a shop and follow the instructions.
And you're done!
** A Facebook business page CANNOT be used to create a log-in. You need to use a personal account.
** We don't save your Facebook password. It's only to create a log-in.
** Please make sure that you use an active Facebook account for creating a log-in.
You already know you can edit all of Socioh's catalog templates to customize them. But how do you add brand assets or pick different colors?
Use Socioh's designer tool to customize your template. Go to the "Your Brand" section and add your logo and brand colors.
Here you can upload your logo in the dimensions you like, and choose your brand colors using their hex codes, by picking from your product image or any asset on your screen using the color picker, or manually choosing from the color spectrum:
You can also use our recommendations to help you pick colors that work for your business, and use this section as an easy shortcut every time you customize any frame or design elements.For example in the image below, the grey frame can be turned into any color from your brand colors:
Select the element (here the frame, but it could also be text, backgrounds, or labels) you want to edit to your colors, and then select the color of your choice from your "Brand Colors" on the editor on the right:
Remember to click on "Done" to save your edits to the template.
Here's how you create a Branded Catalog on Socioh.1. Under the Catalogs, tab, click on the Create New Catalog button.
2. Add products to your Catalog: You can choose to add all of your products or pick specific collections or select products depending on what you intend to promote.3. Select a template: pick a template depending on your intent. Start with any Socioh template and customize exactly as you like.TIP: You can pick templates for Sales, Bestsellers, New Arrivals, Limited Stock (these can be filtered easily). You can also choose special templates for occasions like Christmas, Halloween, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc.
4. You can then customize the design of your Catalog. If you would like to makes changes to your ad template, go to the final screen and click on edit under the variation your products are fitted into. All your creatives fitted into the template variations you edit will be automatically updated. And if you would like to edit individual creatives, you can do that on the Review and Save screen.TIP: Any template that you manually edit automatically gets saved under My Templates. You can use these whenever you create a catalog next.5. Once you are satisfied with how the Catalog looks, hit the Publish button and start setting up your ad.
You can cancel your subscription with Socioh any time you prefer. Simply access your account details and subscription details by clicking on your name in the top right corner of your dashboard.
Click on Subscriptions to see the plan active for you and select the option to cancel your subscription.Please note that though your request to unsubscribe will be effective immediately, the plan you have last paid for will be active until the end of your billing cycle. For instance, if you unsubscribe on the 1oth of June, but your subscription is renewed every 23rd, you will enjoy the benefits of your plan until 23rd June, but no further deductions will be made from your account.
For the moment, you cannot create product sets from within Socioh. However, you can edit any Socioh catalogs on Facebook to add product sets to them.Once you have edited your Socioh catalogs on Facebook, you can then import these changes back to your Socioh dashboard. To do so, click on 'Resync with Facebook' in the top right corner of your Catalogs tab:
Change your catalog design to announce any upcoming discounts or holiday promotions with Smart Switch. Revert to your existing catalog design at the end of the promotion.
TIP: We recommend starting a holiday-themed sale 3-4 weeks before the holiday for maximum effectiveness.
TIP: Ideally, this should be the same as the end time of the promotion or holiday. For instance, a Christmas Sale can be scheduled to revert at 12:00 am on 26th December.
NOTE: All edits to your original catalog will be saved, so you do not lose any customizations.
3. This will take you to a designer tool. Here, you can add your own brand colors and logo, select any element to edit its color, fonts, add or edit text, frames, elements, and backgrounds, map dynamic discounts, and much more.
4. Remember to click "Done" on the top right corner to save your changes.5. If your catalog uses more than one Master Template, remember to save the changes for all your active (or in use) templates.6. You will now return to the review and save screen. Here, remember to Publish or Update your catalog to make your changes permanent.7. You will also receive a prompt to save your final template design. Doing so would make sure that your design will be saved under "My Templates" and you'll be able to use it again.*Socioh offers a mix of single and multi-variation templates. Multi-variation templates (or templates with multiple Master Templates) have the same overarching (or parent) design but have small differences—like rotating text, colors and backgrounds, the placement of image, borders, coupons, colors, and other design elements.NOTE: When you edit a live catalog, Socioh updates the catalog in all running campaigns without losing your campaign optimizations.

We are redesigning the interface to provide you with the best possible experience.You can currently create the following types of ads through Socioh:Dynamic Product Ads (DPAs)These ads show the same product to your visitor that they have already viewed on your website. Since the viewer has already expressed interest in these items, DPAs have the highest probability of conversion.Conversion Ads (Prospecting & Retargeting)These are ads for which the objective is defined as 'conversion'. They can be either:(a) Prospecting or 'cold' ads which help you acquire new customers, or(b) Retargeting ads which aim to bring past visitors (bouncers, cart abandoners, past purchasers, etc) back to your website.Retargeting CampaignsSocioh's campaign recommendations are divided into the core retargeting funnel, social-media based retargeting, and past-purchasers retargeting campaigns. All our recommendations use your pixel and engagers' data to suggest the best audiences for these campaigns. Look for in-built tips on creative suggestions when setting up your ads, confirm the budget and caption, and you're all set. Here's how to get started with your first retargeting campaign.Prospecting RecommendationsBased on your shop's order and pixel data, Socioh will suggest the best custom campaigns for you. You can start with order-based prospecting if you have over 2500 purchasers, or with pixel-based prospecting if you're still building up your store, or social-media lookalikes if you have engaged followers. Here's how to use Socioh to set up your first prospecting campaign.TIP: We typically recommend using 0-5% lookalikes. However, if you're in bigger or more populous markets, you can start with the narrowest (0-1%) lookalikes and expand them as you scale. For smaller markets with restricted audience sizes, wider lookalikes may perform better. Keep an eye on your ad frequency to make sure you aren't exhausting your audiences. For prospecting ads, a frequency between 1 and 2 is ideal. Greater than that means your audience size is too small.

Facing trouble signing up with Socioh or connecting your ad account(s)? Here's a comprehensive guide to help you troubleshoot successfully.1. You cannot log in to your existing account:Unable to login to your existing account via Facebook? See an error with the words "Something went wrong"? First, refresh your screen and try to reconnect to Socioh. If this doesn't work, make sure you are logged out of Socioh and your Facebook account, then clear you cache from your web browser's 'browsing history'. Now log back in to Socioh and Facebook. This should usually resolve the issue, but you may be prompted to reconnect your Facebook account and set up your permissions for Socioh again.Another possible solution is try to log in using the "Incognito" mode on your browser. However, if none of these solutions work, please reach out to us using the in-app chat option (chat box on the bottom right corner of your Socioh dashboard). We also recommend that you accompany your message with a screenshot of any error code. Here's how:-Step 1: Right click on your screen and click on "Inspect" in the menu that opens (screenshot below):
-Step 2: Then, in the box that'll open either on the bottom of the page or to the right of your screen, toggle to the heading "Console" and send us a screenshot of all the code you see there like we've done (screenshot below):
This should help us see why you're not able to connect your account and follow up with Facebook, if needed.
2. You're getting an error saying you're already connected to Socioh but don't have your login details:
If your store is already connected to Socioh, this could be because another member of your team has connected your store to the Socioh dashboard. If you or your team members simply can't find your login details or don't remember installing Socioh, get in touch with our team. You can use the in-app chat icon (find it on the bottom-right corner of your Socioh dashbaord) for a quick response or write us an email. We'll manually remove your store from our dashboard, which will allow you to create a new login for your store.3. Your primary Facebook account/ connected Facebook profile has been suspended:If you've lost access to the Facebook profile you've used to connect to Socioh, get in touch with our team using the in-app chat icon. Our team will manually migrate your details to the new account (you'll need to send us a link to your new profile, in addition to your first and last name). However, please note that the campaigns you have created through your Socioh dashboard will no longer be visible/editable on Socioh, though they will continue to run on Facebook.4. You cannot connect your Facebook Business Managerto Socioh:You'll need to connect your Facebook Business Manager to Socioh to start advertising on Facebook. Unless you're using Socioh only for organic marketing, we recommend that you configure your dashboard in its entirety. If you're getting an error saying there is no Business Manager connected to your Facebook profile, check that you have a Facebook Business Manager account or create one (it only takes a few minutes). Further, you'll need to set up an Ad account, a Facebook pixel and connect your brand's Facebook page to begin advertising. If you're facing trouble with any of these steps, here's a quick checklist:
You're getting an error saying that there is no ad account connected with the Business Manager:If you cannot see your ad account or are getting an error saying there is no account connected to your Business Manager, check that you have an active ad account connected to your Business Manager and that you have admin permissions/access to both. If you've been using a personal ad account, here are the steps to claiming your personal ad account from within your Business Manager:
If you've already done this, ensure that you clear any pending payments in the account. Once you settle the outstanding balance, you should stop seeing the error.
Sometimes, Socioh may not be able to fetch all your accounts immediately and may take a little while to detect all your account details. If you've worked your way through the checklist above, returning to the Socioh dashboard after an hour or so maybe all that's needed.Please use the in-app chat/support option to reach out to us if you face any issues or need additional support.
When you connect your Facebook account to Socioh for the first time, you will be asked to grant us a few permissions. These will allow us to create and manage paid & unpaid Facebook promotions on your behalf.Here's more on what each permission means:

Once you select the template, click on "Edit" under the Master Templates section on the next screen.Now, you'll be directed to our designer tool where you can upload your fonts, add your logo, and include relevant marketing messages to make your product feed look exactly as you want.TIP: You can use the unlimited shapes, textures, stickers, etc. available in our designer or upload your .png files to “Your Brand" --> Upload New Asset to create custom designs.
A Branded Catalog of all your products with your store's logo. This is the first catalog you need to get started with your ads.Dynamic Product Ads (DPAs) use catalogs to show each viewer the product(s) they have recently viewed on your website. Including all products in your main retargeting campaign will ensure that each viewer gets targeted with the exact products they've already viewed when they're shown your ads.For example, say you run an accessories store that sells shoes and handbags. If you create a collection catalog of just handbags for your DPA, shoppers who've seen your shoes will only be shown handbags. This would result in a lost sale.Plus, studies have shown that it takes multiple interactions with a new brand before customers decide to purchase from it. A full-shop catalog with your logo helps improve brand recall and ensures that you retarget all your website visitors with the right products to remind them to complete their purchases.
1. Click on the 'Catalogs' tab on the left panel in Socioh.2. Select 'Create New Branded Catalog'.3. Now pick from Socioh's Starter template or a frame (under Branded Catalogs) you'd like to use with your logo.4. Click on 'Edit' under the master template.5. In the designer tool, go to 'Your Brand' on the left panel. You'll now be able to upload your logo. You can upload multiple sizes for greater flexibility.TIP: We recommend uploading a logo that is between 150-300 pixels (shortest dimension) against the medium or large file upload options on Socioh.6. Now position and size it as you like, match the colors of the frame or any design elements, then click "Done" to exit the designer.7. Finally, review your products and publish your catalog.
Use this catalog for your first retargeting campaign. Once the catalog has run for a while with retargeting campaigns, it can be used for dynamic ads for broad audiences (DABA) campaign at the top of your prospecting funnel.TIP: We recommend using this catalog in your 'Sales Recovery Campaign' or 'Advanced Sales Recovery Campaign' under Socioh’s Core Retargeting Funnel.
Use Socioh’s basic catalog to create a plain feed of your products without any design elements.Choose between Socioh’s “Image Fit” and “Image Fill” options to ensure that all your product images are fitted into your catalog exactly as you prefer.TIP: Use this catalog to connect to your Facebook and Instagram shops since the added design may be distracting on your storefront.NOTE: You can create one Basic Catalog on Socioh’s Buddy or FREE plan.
When you customize any of Socioh's Branded Catalog templates, you will receive a prompt to save your edited design after you click on "Done".Saving your design ensures that this template now becomes available for you to use for any other catalogs you create. You can also save each version of your design under a different name (for example Summer Sale 21 Red/ Summer Sale 21 Blue).All of the template designs you edit and save are stored under "My Templates".
When creating a new catalog, you can find your existing designs under "My Templates" or use any of Socioh's templates.Note: Each of these can be edited or customized further, and the edits saved as a new design under "My Templates".
Yes, this option is available for all subscribed users. Based on the plan you are subscribed to, you can invite 3, 5, or 10 additional managers.Here's how:1. Go to 'Settings' under your name on the top-right corner of Socioh's dashboard:
2. Scroll to 'Users and Permissions'3. Now add the email(s) of the team members you'd like to invite to manage your store.4. After they accept the invite and log in to Socioh, they will be added as managers and be shown on this page.Note: Once added, only the admin will be able to remove them from this page.To add more users than your plan allows, you may purchase seats as 'add-ons' to your plan.
